US : CPSC Revises Definition of "Strong Sensitizers"
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) of 14 February 2014 a final rule that revises the supplemental definition of "strong sensitizer" under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA).
2.The trade had been informed vide Commercial Information Circular no. 217/2013 of 13 March 2013 of CPSC's proposal to update its supplemental definition of "strong sensitizers" under the FHSA. This final rule adopts the proposed updates with certain additional changes, and will become effective on 17 March 2014.
