Commercial Information Circular No. 147/2014

Brazil : Final Determination of Anti-dumping Investigation against Certain Ceramic Tableware Originating in the Mainland of China

The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued a Resolution No. 3/2014 on 17 January 2014 announcing its final determination that from 17 January 2014 to 16 January 2019, certain ceramic tableware, excluding cutting utensils, classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 6911.10.10, 6911.10.90, 6911.90.00 and 6912.00.00 originating in the Mainland of China will be subject to an anti-dumping (AD) duty of US$1.84 to US$5.14 per kg for certain Mainland companies. Imports from other Mainland suppliers will be subject to an AD duty of US$5.14 per kg. The Brazilian Resolution (in Portuguese) is available at: http://www.camex.gov.br/legislacao/interna/id/1182.
