Argentina : Initiation of Anti-circumvention Investigation on Certain Sunglasses, Spectacles and Frames Originating in Hong Kong

The Ministry of Economy and Public Finance ("Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas Públicas" in Spanish) of Argentina issued Resolution No. 18/2014 on 6 February 2014 announcing the initiation of anti-circumvention investigation against certain sunglasses, corrective or pre-graduated spectacles, and frames and mountings of spectacles classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur¹) Common Classification (NCM) codes 9003.11.00, 9003.19.10, 9003.19.90, 9004.90.10 and 9004.10.00 originating in, inter alia, Hong Kong.

2. With effect from 7 February 2014, exports of the subject products to Argentina which are declared to be of Hong Kong origin must be supported by a certificate of origin for purpose of customs clearance.
