Argentina : Initiation of Anti-circumvention Investigation on Certain Sunglasses, Spectacles and Frames Originating in Hong Kong

The Ministry of Economy and Public Finance ("Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas Públicas" in Spanish) of Argentina issued Resolution No. 18/2014 on 6 February 2014 announcing the initiation of anti-circumvention investigation against certain sunglasses, corrective or pre-graduated spectacles, and frames and mountings of spectacles classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 9003.11.00, 9003.19.10, 9003.19.90, 9004.90.10 and 9004.10.00 originating in, inter alia, Hong Kong.

2. With effect from 7 February 2014, exports of the subject products to Argentina which are declared to be of Hong Kong origin must be supported by a certificate of origin for purpose of customs clearance.
