Commercial Information Circular No. 114/2014

Ecuador : Modification of the List of Products Requiring Certificate of Recognition

The Foreign Trade Committee ("Comité de Comercio Exterior"/COMEX in Spanish) of Ecuador issued Resolution No. 116/2013 on 19 November 2013 to modify the list of products requiring a Certificate of Recognition ("certificado de reconocimiento"/INEN-1 in Spanish). The Certificate of Recognition certifies that the imported product complies with the all Ecuadorian technical requirements. The modified list is available at Annex 1 of Resolution No. 116/2013.

2.For details, traders are advised to consult their importers in Ecuador and/or the above Ecuadorian Resolution (in Spanish), which is available at: http://comercioexterior.gob.ec/wp-content/uploads/downloads/2013/12/RESOLUCION-No.-116.pdf.
