Mexico : New Energy Efficiency Requirements for Certain Pumps

The Mexican government recently issued a mandatory official standard updating the minimum energy efficiency requirements for motor-pump combinations used to pump clean water for household use, with a power between 0.180 KW to 0.750 KW. The regulation entered into force on 29 November 2014.

DETAILS

2.The new standard includes provisions regarding the scope of the standard, definitions, classification, technical specifications, sampling, acceptance criteria, labelling, test methods and conformity assessment.
