Indonesia : Initiation of Safeguard Investigation on Certain Articles of Apparel and Clothing Accessories
The Indonesian government initiated a safeguard investigation on certain articles of apparel and clothing accessories on 1 October 2020. Products covered in the investigation include the following HS codes: 6101, 6102, 6103, 6104, 6105, 6106, 6109, 6110, 6111, 6117, 6201, 6202, 6203, 6204, 6205, 6206, 6209, and 6214. After the investigation, the Indonesian government will determine whether imposition of safeguard measures on the imports of the products concerned is warranted. The Trade and Industry Department will keep the trade informed of the development.
