Seminar for SMEs on "Sustaining Competitiveness through Innovation and Upgrading"

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Sustaining Competitiveness through Innovation and Upgrading" on September 18 (Wednesday).

Speakers will include the President of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Association and Managing Director of Campell Group (Hong Kong) Ltd, Dr Eddy Li; the President of the Hong Kong SME Development Federation Ltd and Managing Director of Delicron (HK) Ltd, Dr Edward Lam; Assistant Professor of the Department of Management & Marketing of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Dr Mak Wai-ming; and Director of Kai Tai Chinese Medicine (Holdings) Co Ltd Mr Rufus Yeung. The guest speakers will address key elements for successful innovation and upgrading, including business restructuring and upgrading, human resources development, strategy formulation and risk management, etc.

The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.

Due to the limited seating capacity of the venue, seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
