Seminar for SMEs on "Sustainable Manpower Training and Development : Key to Success for Enterprises II"

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Sustainable Manpower Training and Development: Key to Success for Enterprises II" on August 20 (Tuesday). The seminar will explore how enterprises can enhance their competitiveness through manpower training and development.

The speakers will include the Senior Manager (Business Development) of the Employees Retraining Board (ERB), Ms Angel Lau; the Director of Charlotte Travel Limited, Mrs Jackie Harris; the President of Many Wells Property Agent Limited, Dr Lawrance Wong; and the Human Resources Director - HK & Macau of Belle International Holdings Limited, Ms Karen Lee. Ms Lau will introduce the ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme. The Scheme, organised by the ERB, aims to acknowledge enterprises with outstanding accomplishments in manpower training and development. The other guest speakers, representing enterprises that have been accredited as "Manpower Developer" under the Scheme, will share their success stories on manpower training and development.

The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.

Due to the limited seating capacity of the venue, seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
