TID to participate in 46th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo

The Trade and Industry Department (TID) will participate in the 46th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo (HKBPE) for five consecutive days starting tomorrow (December 10) at the Victoria Park, Causeway Bay.

The TID is one of the supporting organisations of the HKBPE and will run a booth at the Promotion Zone to showcase the support measures provided by the Government and related organisations in assisting local enterprises on brand development and promotion. An interactive game to enhance visitors' awareness of Hong Kong brands will be set up at the booth. The TID will also take the opportunity to introduce the Hong Kong Awards for Industries championed by the Government and other related services of the department.

This annual expo is organised by the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA) to promote Hong Kong brands and to foster the development of Hong Kong industries. With the surge in the number of visitors in recent years, the HKBPE is considered one of the major events promoting Hong Kong brands. The 46th HKBPE will be held from December 10, 2011 to January 2, 2012.
