Seminar to give SMEs "Tips for Starting Up a Business with Small Capital"

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar on March 31 (Thursday) entitled "Tips for Starting Up a Business with Small Capital", aimed at SMEs and business start-ups.

Speakers include the founder of YesMK Easy Shop, Ms Candy Law; founder of Newborn Nanny Service Centre, Ms Michelle Wong; founders of Smart Bo Bo Shop, Ms Vicky Ho and Mr Kim Shek; and Supervisor of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Mr Gary Tang. The first four speakers will share their successful experiences in starting up their businesses with small capital, the difficulties they encountered during the start-up process and tips for overcoming these difficulties, while Mr Tang will introduce "Youth Business Hong Kong" of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and its related support and services.

The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, ground floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). It will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
