Seminar for SMEs on "Intellectual Capital Management - The New Trend for Enterprises to Create Wealth and Add Value"

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar on November 23 (Tuesday) entitled "Intellectual Capital Management (ICM) – The New Trend for Enterprises to Create Wealth and Add Value". The seminar will explore how the potential value of intangible assets can be unveiled through the management and operational tool of ICM.

Speakers include the Director of Intellectual Property, Mr Stephen Selby; a representative from Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute; Chairman of Knowledge Management Development Centre Limited, Mr Eric Chan; CEO of Asia Intellectual Capital Alliance, Dr Henry Fok; General Manager/Innovation & IP of Hong Kong Productivity Council, Mr MP Au; Consulting Specialist, Software Group of IBM, Ms Joanne Quek and Service Marketing Manager of Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong) Limited, Mr Thomas Poon. They will share their stories regarding ICM implementation and explain its various benefits.

The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, ground floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). It will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
