Basic Law Photo Competition invites entries

The following is issued on behalf of the Working Group on Industrial, Commercial and Professional Sectors under the Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee:

The Basic Law Photo Competition for the industrial, commercial and professional sectors is now open for entries. Organisations and companies in the sectors are welcome to join. The closing date is January 15, 2011. 

The content of the photos should be about the relationship between the Basic Law and the development of the industrial, commercial and professional sectors in Hong Kong. Textual explanation of the photo content is required. 

The winner, the first runner-up and the second runner-up in the competition will be awarded a cash prize of $6,000, $4,000 and $2,000 respectively. A number of merit prizes will also be awarded. In addition, the winning photos will be displayed on related promotional materials.

This Basic Law Photo Competition is organised by the Working Group on Industrial, Commercial and Professional Sectors under the Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee. Its purpose is to enhance understanding of and interest in the Basic Law.
