Seminar for SMEs on "Building Customer Service Excellence for Small and Medium Retailers"

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department (TID) will hold a seminar on August 18 (Wednesday). The seminar, entitled "Building Customer Service Excellence for Small and Medium Retailers", will examine the keys to customer service success in the highly competitive retail market.

Speakers include Director and Consultant of KAR Consultants Ltd, Mr Paul Ma; Retail Marketing Manager of the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Ltd, Ms Catherine Wong; Director of Training of Sa Sa Cosmetic Co Ltd, Ms Janet Wong; and Senior Manager of the Hong Kong Retail Management Association, Ms Hydde Chan. Mr Ma will introduce the latest trends in retail customer service in Hong Kong. Ms Catherine Wong and Ms Janet Wong will share their success stories of building customer service excellence. Ms Chan will introduce the SME Programme organised by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association and sponsored by the TID's SME Development Fund. Participating SMEs under the SME Programme, including Health Gate, The Groom Shoes Repair & Polish Ltd, New Odaiba, Sun Wing Loong Rice Trading Co and Liberate Co (musé), will also share their experience in upgrading customer service. 

The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, ground floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). It will be conducted in Cantonese and admission is free.
