Seminar for SMEs on "Keys to Starting a Successful Business - Leadership, Entrepreneurial Dynamics and Business Skills"

A seminar on "Keys to Starting a Successful Business - Leadership, Entrepreneurial Dynamics and Business Skills" will be held on July 22 (Thursday) to explore the keys to success for business startups in the current fluctuating and highly competitive market.

The seminar is organised by the Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department. Distinguished speakers include Co-founder of DHL International Asia Pacific, Mr Po Chung; Chief Executive Officer of OnePort Limited, Dr Saimond Ip, and Co-chairman of the SME Sub-committee of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Hong Kong, Mr Sherman Chong. Mr Chung will introduce the fundamentals of quality leadership which are crucial to successful business starters, and Dr Ip will discuss the dynamics of entrepreneurship. Mr Chong will discuss the pros and cons of different company structures, and introduce some practical accounting tips and financial skills for business starters.

The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, ground floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). It will be conducted in Cantonese and admission is free.
