Seminar for SMEs on "Transforming Trade Solutions into Opportunities"

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar on July 28 entitled "Transforming Trade Solutions into Opportunities". The seminar will introduce various trade solutions to help enterprises obtain funding for sustainable business development and market expansion.

Speakers include Senior Vice-President, Team Head of Trade and Supply Chain of HSBC Miss Emily Yau; Deputy General Manager of Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation Mr Walter Tse; and Chairman of SME Committee of CPA Australia Hong Kong China Division, FCPA (Aust), and Principal Partner of gateway enterprise management Mr Spencer Ma. They will talk about efficient financial supply chain management practices, export credit insurance as a useful trade finance tool, best practice in cash flow management and advisories on trade fraud cases. Former chairman of the SME Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and Managing Director of ColArt Hong Kong Ltd Mr Gerry Ma will be the moderator for the experience sharing session.

The seminar will be on July 28 at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, ground floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). It will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
