Seminar for SMEs on "Lean Management & Six Sigma: Survival of the Fittest"

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Lean Management & Six Sigma in Perspective: Survival of the Fittest - Increasing Productivity & Reducing Cost" on April 30 (Thursday). The seminar will explore how "lean management" and "six sigma" can help SMEs achieve cost reduction and profit growth in times of adversity.

Speakers will include product managers of SGS Hong Kong Ltd., Mr Ivan Ha and Mr Lotto Lo. They will introduce the concepts of "lean management" and "six sigma" and share some successful cases of implementation in the manufacturing and service industries.

The seminar will be held on April 30 at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, ground floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). It will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
