SME seminar on "Adding Value Through Design and Innovation"

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Adding Value Through Design and Innovation" on July 29 (Tuesday). The seminar will explore how design and innovation can add value to products and services, and introduce details of the "DesignSmart Initiative" launched by the Government to strengthen support for the trade on design and innovation. 

At the seminar, Senior Manager (Infrastructure) of the Innovation and Technology Commission, Mrs Shirley Lau, and Manager of the Design Incubation Programme under the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks, Ms Rebekah Ng, will introduce details of the "Design-Business Collaboration Scheme" and the "Design Incubation Programme" under the initiative respectively. Chairman of the Hong Kong Designers Association and Creative Director of Hoobee Limited, Mr Winnif Pang, together with two designers and entrepreneurs participating in the schemes, Creative Director of Eggshell Creative Limited, Ms Viola Pak, and Director of Agog Limited, Mr Leo Heung, will also share with the audience how to enhance product value through design and innovation.

The seminar will be held on July 29 at 2.30pm at the Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau Station Exit B). It will be in Cantonese. Admission is free.
