The SME seminar on business expansion in Hong Kong and Mainland on June 14
Wednesday, May 23, 2007

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "High-flying business" on June 14 to introduce how the Government's SME Loan Guarantee Scheme and banks' equipment financing can help SMEs expand their businesses. SMEs will also be advised on budget planning for business expansion.

Speakers include Senior Executive Officer, Trade and Industry Department Ms Doris Chow, Senior Vice-President, Hire Purchase and Leasing, Commercial Banking, HSBC Mrs Alice Li, and Chairman, SME Committee, CPA Australia Hong Kong China Division and Chief Consulting Officer, Stonehenge Consulting Mr Spencer Ma. Chairman, SME Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and Managing Director, ColArt Hong Kong Ltd Mr Gerry Ma, will be the moderator of the SMEs' experience sharing session.

The seminar will be held on June 14 at 2.30pm at the Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau Station Exit B). It will be conducted in Cantonese with free admission.

Interested parties are requested to register with SUCCESS by June 12 (Tuesday). People can visit SUCCESS Website (www.success.tid.gov.hk) for details of the seminar and for online registration.
