"SME Pulse" Ready for Collection

The seventh issue of "SME Pulse", published by the Trade and Industry Department (TID), has been released. SMEs and potential business starters are welcome to obtain a free copy from the following distribution centres or download from the SUCCESS website (http://www.success.tid.gov.hk):

- the Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) at TID;
- major trade and industrial support organisations; and
- major district libraries.

The latest issue contains features on wedding planners grasping business opportunities in this wedding year; an awarding-winning designer building up his business with authentic trendy figures; the outcome of the Sixth World Trade Organisation Ministerial Conference held in Hong Kong last December; using packaging techniques to build up company image and create market opportunities. The newsletter will also introduce winners of the 2005 "Hong Kong Awards for Industries"; and provide tips for better learning and use of commercial Chinese and Putonghua.
