SME seminar on starting an Upper Floor Shop

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will join the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups to hold a seminar on June 15. The seminar will explore how to operate an "Upper Floor Shop" (UFS). Potential business starters are welcome to attend.

The seminar will be held from 2.30pm to 5pm at the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau Station Exit B).

At the seminar, BOSSible Director Mr Kenneth Wong will speak on the market trends and provide tips of starting a UFS. Chief Executive Officer (Shops, Industrial and Commercial), of Midland Realty Mr Pierre Wong will speak on leasing matters and conditions of UFS. Mr Kenneth Wong will also be the moderator of an experience-sharing session. Private Practice Optometrist, Vision Eye Care Centre Mr Simon Sze; and Director of Paris Cafe and Chairman of Hong Kong Coffee Association Mr Banny Lam will share their entrepreneurial experience and insights.

The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free. Interested parties are requested to register with SUCCESS by June 13 as seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
