SME seminar on import and export trade

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will join HSBC to hold a seminar on May 18 entitled "Make Your Winning Moves in Global Trade". The seminar will cover the concepts and practices in import and export trade, and will explore how to minimise trade risks. Interested SMEs are welcome to attend.

The seminar will be held from 2.30pm to 5.30pm at the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau Station Exit B).

Speakers include Senior Trade Services Manager, HSBC Mrs Avis Cheung; and Senior Manager, Marketing Division, Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation Mr Iso Wong. Managing Director, ColArt Hong Kong Ltd and Vice-Chairman, SME Committee, HK General Chamber of Commerce Mr Gerry Ma will be the moderator of an experience sharing session during which SMEs from the trading businesses will share their experience and insights with the audience.

The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free. Interested parties are requested to register with SUCCESS by May 16 as seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
