Seminar on how to provide quality customer services

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will join with the Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA) to hold a seminar entitled "Benchmarking - Experience Sharing by 2005 Service Retailers of the Year" on April 27.

The seminar will be held from 2.30pm to 5.30pm at the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau Station Exit B).

At the seminar, Executive Director, HKRMA Miss Anita Bagaman will introduce the "Mystery Shoppers Programme". The programme, organised by HKRMA, aims to improve the overall standard of customer services in the retail industry and to recognise outstanding retail companies.

Winners of "2005 Service Retailers of the Year" under the "Mystery Shoppers Programme" will share their knowledge and experience on customer services with the audience. Director, CWN Consulting Ltd. Mr Cary Tu will be the moderator of the session. Speakers include Executive Director, TSL Jewellery Mr. Alex Chan; Director of Training, Sa Sa International Holdings Ltd. - La Colline Shop Ms. Janet Wong; HR & Administration Senior Manager, Chinese Arts & Crafts (H.K.) Ltd. Ms. Tracy Chui; General Manager, Retail Business Development, SmarTone - Vodafone Mr. Nicholas Fung; District Supervisor, Giordano Ltd. Ms. Fanny Li; Personnel Manager, YGM Trading Ltd. Ms. Rebecca Sin; Area Manager - Retail, Simmons Bedding & Furniture (HK) Ltd. Ms. Anita Yang; and Senior Manager - Operations, CR Care Co. Ltd. Mr. Raymond Chau.

The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free. Interested parties are requested to register with SUCCESS by April 25 as seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
