The seminar will discuss the major issues at stake in the current round of WTO negotiations under the Doha Development Agenda and the expected outcomes of the Hong Kong Ministerial Conference to be held from December 13-18. The Chairman of the HKCPEC and President of the Lingnan University, Prof. Edward Chen, and three local and overseas experts on WTO will share their views with participants. The seminar will be conducted in English.

PECC is a non-governmental organisation set up in 1980 with the purpose of developing closer co-operation among economies in the region in trade and economic policy issues. Currently, PECC has 25 member committees including Hong Kong, China.
