SME seminar on starting up a business

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department (TID) together with BOSSible will hold a seminar entitled "This is the way I started my business" on November 3.

The seminar will be held from 2.30pm to 5.30pm at the Lecture Theatre, G/F Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau Station Exit B).

The seminar will be divided into two sessions. In the first part, BOSSible Marketing Director Mr Harry Chow will provide tips on how to identify and seize business opportunities. Other guests include Msystem.com.hk Director Mr Eddie Chen; Director and Chief Consultant of Next Step Consulting Ms Renu Chu; and Managing Director of Relaxing Tea House International Ltd Mr Maverick Hui. They will share with participants their entrepreneurial experience and insights. 

In the second half of the seminar, the TID's Trade Officer, Mr Jackson Wong, will introduce the Government's supporting services to business start-ups. Entrepreneurs benefited from the supporting services will also share their experiences at the seminar. Speakers include: Chief Marketing Officer, NETXIS Ltd Mr Jonathan Wong; Director, Samond Traders Holding Ltd Mr Raymond Lo; and Managing Director, Waste & Environmental Technology Ltd Mr Leung Wai-on. 

The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free of charge. Interested parties are requested to register with SUCCESS as seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
