SMEs invited to seminar on access to Mainland market through CEPA

The Trade and Industry Department's Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) and the APEX Junior Chamber will jointly hold a seminar entitled, "Access to the Mainland Market through CEPA".

Interested parties are welcome to attend the seminar on Tuesday (September 21) from 2.30pm to 5pm at the Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau Station Exit B).

The seminar will provide tips for Hong Kong designers and small and medium enterprises on how to make use of CEPA to enter the Mainland market. They will learn how to use China's postal and logistics services to launch a nationwide publicity campaign and how to establish a customer network in the Mainland. Also, speakers will explain about how CEPA is helping Hong Kong's cosmetics industry gain access into the Mainland market.

The Deputy Director-General of Trade and Industry, Mr Clement Leung, will officiate at the seminar.

Speakers will include Mr Alan Yip, Honorary Adviser, Hong Kong Designers Association; Mr Carson Deng, Consultant, Guangzhou Youan Mail Order Service Ltd; Mr Cary Tu, Consultant, Vast Dragon Holdings Ltd; and a representative of Shenzhen Retail Business Association.

The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese and Putonghua. Admission is free.
