Seminar will help SMEs get credit

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department, and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, will jointly hold a seminar on the Commercial Credit Reference Agency on November 13. Interested parties are welcome to attend.

The seminar will be held from 3pm to 4.30pm at the Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (Tin Hau MTR Station Exit B).

The seminar will give SMEs a better understanding of the operation of the Commercial Credit Reference Agency, how Commercial Credit Reference can help SMEs to obtain loans from lending institutions, and how SMEs can go about getting included in the Commercial Credit Reference.

Speakers will include Mr Raymond Li, Executive Director, Banking Development, Hong Kong Monetary Authority; Mr Albert Chan, Chairman, CCRA Industry Working Group; and Ms Maisie Chan, Director, Data & Operations, Asia, Dun & Bradstreet (HK) Ltd.

The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free of charge. Interested parties are requested to register with the Trade and Industry Department by November 11.
