Seminar on Enhanced SME Funding Schemes

The Government has introduced a series of improvement measures to enhance the effectiveness of the four SME funding schemes.To facilitate SMEs to make fuller use of the enhanced schemes, the Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department (TID) will hold a seminar on May 26 to introduce the improvement measures. SMEs are welcome to attend.

The seminar will be held from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at the Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (Tin Hau MTR Station Exit B).

At the seminar, representatives from TID will introduce the new features of the enhanced SME funding schemes, which include a wider scope, higher guarantee ceilings, and a longer guarantee period for the new SME Loan Guarantee Scheme, as well as higher funding ceilings and more flexible procedures for the SME Export Marketing Fund and the SME Training Fund.

Also, SMEs which have successfully applied for the schemes will be present to share with audiences their experiences.
