"Running Quality Restaurants" Seminar

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Productivity Council's SME Centre, and Metro Finance, organise a seminar on "Running Quality Restaurants" on August 14.  Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) operators and business starters are welcome to attend.

The seminar will be held from 2.30 pm to 5 pm at the Exhibition Hall, 4/F, HKPC Building, 78 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon (MTR Kowloon Tong Station Exit C1).

The seminar aims to help potential restaurant operators and SMEs in the restaurant trade understand how to turn their restaurant businesses into a successful venture.  At the seminar, Miss Patsy Cheung, Sales & Marketing Manager, Morton’s of Chicago; Mr Yeung Tin Ming, Wing Lai Yuen; Miss Gilly Cheung, Moon Kee Dessert; and representatives of G.Sushi will share with participants their invaluable experiences in operating restaurant outlets and setting marketing strategies.

Besides, Ms Rebecca Kwok, Consultant, the Hong Kong Productivity Council, will speak on what constitutes quality restaurants.  Mr. Barry Kwong, Business Environment Council will explain how to build quality and "green" restaurants through environmental management.  Mr. Alex Chan, Market Director, Infrasys (HK) Ltd., will brief participants on how information technology can enhance the overall productivity of restaurants.
