European Union (EU)* : Initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding on imports of certain Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) originating in, inter alia, Chinese Mainland
The European Commission published notice C/2026/4912 on 23 September 2026 announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of PVC originating in, inter alia, Chinese Mainland. 2.The product under investigation is certain polyvinyl chloride polymerised through suspension polymerisation (S-PVC) and bulk (mass) polymerisation (M-PVC) in pure form and not mixed with any other substance (S-/M-PVC). The product concerned includes S-PVC classified as commodity S-PVC, extender S-PVC and specialty S-PVC, currently falling under CN code ex 3904 10 00 (TARIC codes 3904 10 00 21 and 3904 10 00 81). The product concerned does not include PVC polymerised through emulsion polymerisation (E-PVC).
3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to trade remedy investigations against products from the province.
