European Union (EU)* : Initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding on imports of acetylsalicylic acid originating in Chinese Mainland
The European Commission published notice C/2026/4913 on 23 September 2026 announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of acetylsalicylic acid originating in Chinese Mainland. 2.The product under investigation is o-acetylsalicylic acid, classified under the Chemical Abstracts Service Registry Number (CAS RN) 50-78-2, currently falling under CN code ex 2918 22 00 (TARIC code 2918 22 00 20).
3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to trade remedy investigations against products from the province.
