Dear Sirs,
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 604/2025 of 18 July 2025, the European Commission published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/114 on 16 January 2026 to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty and definitively collect the provisional duty on imports of fused alumina originating in Chinese Mainland. 2.Salient points of the Regulation are set out below -
| (a) Product | : | Fused alumina, currently falling under CN codes 2818 10 11, 2818 10 19, ex 2818 10 91, and 2818 10 99 (TARIC codes 2818 10 91 20, 2818 10 91 40, 2818 10 91 91, 2818 10 91 99). The anti-dumping duty shall not apply to imports falling within the duty-free tariff-rate quota established for imports of fused alumina, currently falling under CN codes 2818 10 11, 2818 10 19, ex 2818 10 91, and 2818 10 99 (TARIC codes 2818 10 11 10, 2818 10 11 20, 2818 10 11 30, 2818 10 11 40, 2818 10 11 91, 2818 10 11 99, 2818 10 91 20, 2818 10 91 40, 2818 10 91 91, 2818 10 91 99) |
| (b) Rate of duty | : | 110.6% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for a number of companies with individual duty rates from 88.7% to 99.8%) |
| (c) Effective date | : | 17 January 2026 |
| (d) Collection of duty | : | The amounts secured by way of the provisional anti-dumping duty under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1456 shall be definitively collected at a level corresponding to 62.6 % of the duty rates established above |

The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
