European Union (EU)* : Initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding on imports of primary cells and primary batteries of alkaline manganese dioxide originating in Chinese Mainland
The European Commission published notice C/2026/3479 on 2 July 2026 announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of primary cells and primary batteries of alkaline manganese dioxide originating in Chinese Mainland. 2.The product under investigation is primary cells and primary batteries of alkaline manganese dioxide, in the form of cylindrical cells, not rechargeable, not spent, not waste and scrap, excluding parts, currently classified under CN code 8506 10 11.
3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
