Dear Sirs,
According to a notification dated 26 January 2026 (G/SG/N/6/MAR/11/Suppl.2) issued by the World Trade Organization (WTO), Morocco has initiated an investigation on the extension of safeguard measures on hot-rolled sheets on 22 January 2026. Products covered in the investigation are classifiable under the Moroccan customs HS tariff headings of 7208, 721113, 721114, 721119, 722530, 722540, 7226200011, 7226200020, 7226200051, 7226200052, 7226200059, 722691 and 7226998000. The Trade and Industry Department will keep the trade informed of the development.
