United Kingdom (UK) : Initiation of an investigation into alleged dumping on imports of rutile titanium dioxide originating in Chinese Mainland
The UK Government published a notice on 3 March 2026 initiating an investigation into alleged dumping on imports of rutile titanium dioxide originating in Chinese Mainland. 2.The product under investigation is rutile titanium oxides in pigments and preparations based on rutile titanium dioxide, containing a minimum of 80% by weight of titanium dioxide calculated on the dry matter and having all types of particle sizes, classified under Chemical Abstracts Service Registry Numbers 12065-65-5 and 13463-67-7, currently falling under UK Global Tariff commodity codes 2823 0000 10, 3206 1100 10, 2823 0000 30, 3206 1100 30, 2823 0000 80, 3206 1100 80, 2823 0000 83, 3206 1100 85.
3.All interested parties may register their interest in the investigation by 18 March 2026 via the Trade Remedies Service at: https://www.trade-remedies.service.gov.uk/. They may submit comments on any issues relevant to the investigation and request a hearing through the Trade Remedies Service.
4.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
