Chinese Mainland : “Notice of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council Concerning Adjusting the Measures on Imposing Additional Tariffs on Certain Imported Products Originating from Canada”
The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council issued on 27 February 2026 the “Notice of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council Concerning Adjusting the Measures on Imposing Additional Tariffs on Certain Imported Products Originating from Canada”. Starting from 1 March to 31 December 2026, the Mainland would adjust the measures on imposing additional tariffs set forth in the “‘Notice of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council Concerning Additional Tariffs on Certain Imported Products Originating from Canada’ (Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council No. 3 of 2025)” and would not impose the additional tariff of 100% on oil cakes and peas originating from Canada and the additional tariff of 25% on lobsters and crabs originating from Canada.
