Dear Sirs,
According to the notifications dated 26 June 2025 (document symbol G/SG/N/7/ZAF/7•G/SG/N/11/ZAF/9) and 2 July 2025 (G/SG/N/7/ZAF/7/Suppl.1 •G/SG/N/11/ZAF/9/Suppl.1) issued by the World Trade Organization (WTO), South Africa has imposed a provisional safeguard measure on the imports of corrosion resistant steel coil under the Harmonised System (HS) Codes 7210 61 20, 7210 61 30, 7225 92 25 and 7225 92 35. The above-mentioned notifications can be obtained from the WTO’s website at <http://docsonline.wto.org>.
2.Salient points of South Africa’s provisional safeguard measure are set out below -
