Chinese Mainland : Implementation Rules on Import Tariff Rate Quotas for Sugar, Wool and Wool Tops in 2026
The Ministry of Commerce issued on 30 September 2025 the “Application Criteria and Allocation Principles of Import Tariff Rate Quota for Sugar in 2026” and the “Implementation Rules on Administration of Import Tariff Rate Quotas for Wool and Wool Tops in 2026”. The relevant application period for import tariff rate quota for sugar is from 15 to 30 October 2025. Enterprises should submit applications for import tariff rate quotas for wool and wool tops before 20 September 2026. Please refer to the Appendix for the notice (in Chinese only).
