The Mainland of China : “Notice of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council Concerning Adjusting the Measures on Imposing Additional Tariffs on Imported Products Originating from the United States”
The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council issued on 12 August 2025 the “Notice of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council Concerning Adjusting the Measures on Imposing Additional Tariffs on Imported Products Originating from the United States (the US)”. Starting from 12 August 2025 at 12:01, the Mainland would adjust the measures on imposing additional tariffs set forth in the “‘Notice of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council Concerning Additional Tariffs on Imported Products Originating from the US’ (Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council No. 4 of 2025)”. The additional tariff rate of 24% on US imports would continue to be suspended for 90 days, while the additional tariff rate of 10% on those imports would be retained. Please refer to the Appendix for the notice (in Chinese only).
