Dear Sirs,
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 261/2021 of 19 April 2021, the European Commission published notice C/2025/4008 on 22 July 2025 concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of welded pipes and tubes of iron or non-alloyed steel originating in the Mainland of China. 2.The product concerned is certain welded tubes and pipes, of iron or non-alloy steel, of circular cross-section and of an external diameter not exceeding 168.3mm, excluding line pipe of a kind used for oil or gas pipelines, casing and tubing of a kind used in drilling for oil or gas, precision tubes and tubes and pipes with attached fittings suitable for conducting gases or liquids for use in civil aircraft, currently falling under CN codes ex 7306 30 41, ex 7306 30 49, ex 7306 30 72 and ex 7306 30 77 (TARIC codes 7306 30 41 20, 7306 30 49 20, 7306 30 72 80 and 7306 30 77 80). Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in the notice, the anti-dumping measures will expire at midnight of 20 April 2026.
3.Definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of the product originating in the Mainland of China have been imposed since 20 April 2021. The current rate of anti-dumping duty is 90.6% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty.
