Dear Sirs,
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 1028/2024 of 12 December 2024 regarding the scope expansion of anti-dumping (AD) measure to (i) 100% plain weave polyester fabrics, unbleached, bleached or dyed, with a width between 1.80 and 2.00 metres and a weight ranging from 80 grams to 200 grams per square metre originating in the Mainland of China; and (ii) 100% plain weave polyester fabrics, unbleached, bleached or dyed, with a width of less than 1.80 metres and a weight ranging from 80 grams to 200 grams per square metre, imported from Malaysia (whether or not declared as originating in Malaysia), the Peruvian Government issued Resolution No. 052/2025 to reaffirm that the aforementioned products are circumventing an existing AD measure against 100% plain weave polyester fabrics, unbleached, bleached or dyed, with a width of less than 1.80 metres and a weight ranging from 80 grams to 200 grams per square metre, classified under Peruvian Harmonised Tariff Schedule (HTSPE) codes 5512.11.0000 and 5512.19.0000 originating in the Mainland of China.
2.Imports of subject products would continue to face an AD duty of US$3.55 per kilogram. The relevant Peruvian Resolution (in Spanish) is available at: https://busquedas.elperuano.pe/dispositivo/NL/2385319-1.
