Commercial Information Circular No. 247/2025
European Union (EU)* : Making imports of candles, tapers and the like originating in the Mainland of China subject to registration
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 1052/2024 of 19 December 2024, the European Commission published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/511 on 21 March 2025 to make imports of candles, tapers and the like originating in the Mainland of China currently under the anti-dumping investigation subject to registration. The Implementing Regulation is available at: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=OJ:L_202500511.
2.The product concerned is candles, tapers and the like, currently classified under CN code 3406 00 00.
3.The Implementing Regulation will enter into force on 22 March 2025. For further details, please refer to the above Implementing Regulation.
4.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
