Dear Sirs,
The Mexican government announced on 29 December 2025 to modify the import tariff on some 1,400 tariff lines including steel, textiles, clothing, footwear and other products classified under Mexican Harmonised Tariff Schedule (HTSMX) Chapters 33, 34, 39, 40, 42, 48, 50 - 64, 69, 70, 72, 73, 76, 83 - 85, 87, 90 and 94 - 96. The modification will enter into force on 1 January 2026.
