Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 71/2022 of 19 January 2022, the European Commission has published Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/2597 on 7 October 2024 and Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/2608 on 8 October 2024 to amend Annex II to Regulation (EC) No. 1333/2008 regarding the use of sorbic acid (E 200), potassium sorbate (E 202), powdered cellulose (E 460(ii)) and glucono-delta-lactone (E 575) in unripened soft spreadable cheese products as food additives.
