Dear Sirs,
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 525/2020 of 6 July 2020, the European Commission published notice C/2024/6156 on 16 October 2024 concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of ferro-silicon originating in the Mainland of China. 2.The product concerned is ferro-silicon, currently falling under CN codes 7202 21 00, 7202 29 10 and 7202 29 90. Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in the notice, the anti-dumping measures will expire at midnight of 2 July 2025.
3.Definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of the product originating in the Mainland of China have been imposed since 2 July 2020. The current rate of anti-dumping duty is 31.2% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, before duty (except for a number of companies with individual duty rate from 15.6% to 29.0%).
