Dear Sirs,
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 628/2014 of 2 July 2014, the European Commission has published a regulation to terminate the "new exporter" review initiated at the request of Juancheng Kangtai Chemical Co. Ltd. ('the applicant'). The regulation can be accessed through the following link:
http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=OJ:JOL_2015_065_R_0009.
2.On the basis of the applicant's formal withdrawal of its request for a "new exporter" review, the Commission considered that the "new exporter" review should be terminated. As a result, with immediate effect, the registration of the applicant's imports by customs authorities has ceased. The current duty in force, i.e. 42.6% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty, will be levied retrospectively with effect from 2 July 2014 on the applicant's imports.
3.For enquiries concerning the contents of this circular, please contact the undersigned at telephone number 2398 5350.
Yours faithfully,
(Y K So)
for Director-General of Trade and Industry
