Note: Starting from 10 September 2026, New Zealand has put in place new arrangements under which certificate of origin is no longer mandatory for export of Hong Kong-originating goods under Harmonized System Chapter 61 and Chapter 62. Hence, the relevant provisions in the agreement text are only applicable if certificate of origin is requested by New Zealand in case of doubts. Please refer to Certificate of Origin Circular No. 4/2026 for further information.
