Since the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement and Investment Agreement, Hong Kong and ASEAN have been maintaining close contact to ensure smooth implementation of the Agreements and discuss areas for further cooperation. Overview of these meetings are set out below.
The meetings are co-chaired by the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development and the Minister of the ASEAN Member State holding Chairmanship (or the respective representatives).
