Starting from February 2020, the United Kingdom is no longer a member of European Union (EU), leaving the 27 original members viz. Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. Merchandise trade statistics with EU from 2020 onwards are compiled based on the new coverage and thus not comparable with EU figures in earlier years.
