Commercial Information Circular No. 399/2006
India : Imposition of Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on Imports of Compact Discs-Recordable (CD-Rs) originating in or exported from certain economies including Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China
Traders were informed vide Commercial Information Circular No. 347/2006 that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India has published a notification on the preliminary findings of the anti-dumping investigation against Compact Discs-Recordable (CD-Rs) originating in or exported from certain economies including Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China.
- The Indian Customs subsequently issued a notification dated 6 October 2006 to impose the provisional anti-dumping duty of US$0.049 per piece on imports of CD-Rs from Hong Kong. A copy of the notification is at Annex (pdf format) for reference. Salient points are set out below-
