US : 2009 Calculation of Expected Non-Market Economy Wages in Anti-dumping Proceedings
The US Department of Commerce (DoC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 9 December 2009 its final 2009 calculation of expected non-market economy (NME) wages. These expected NME wage rates became effective on 9 December 2009 and will be in effect for all anti-dumping proceedings for which the DoC's final decision is due after that date. A copy (pdf format) of the FR notice is appended to this circular for reference.
BACKGROUND

The DoC published in the FR notice of 7 October 2009 its preliminary 2009 calculation of expected NME wages to seek public comments on potential clerical errors in the calculation. After review of comments received, the DoC now announces its final 2009 calculation of expected NME wages.
